Nate's 23 BirThDay!

Nate turned 23!! I was lucky enough to be able to go to lunch with him before I left for work! I picked him up and we headed to Panda Express :) He headed back to work and I came home to bake his Birthday CAKE! I wanted to do a fun Baseball CAKE but with my new work schedule there just wasn't time for it. So i made a cookie sheet cake one of his favorite unforchenately there was a little toooooo much vanilla that spilled into the frosting so the frosting is a little strong.. :S. I headed to work and I was able to get off at perfect timing for us to go to dinner at Red Lobster it was so yummy and way more affordable than i remember. We came home to have BIrthday CAKE, Coldstone CHEESECAKE FANTASY ice cream and watch Prison Break ( his fav i don't love it but its time i get to spend cuddling with him so i am ALL for it!) Nate decided he wanted the VERY center piece of the cake..  and hey its his birthday so why not! :)

OUT with the old and IN with the new.

Old: My job at Crafters Corner it was a bitter sweet ending but it was time to move on. I still LOVE crafting and do whenever i have spare time. I just wasn't getting any hours and thats kind of the point of a job is to have hours and make money its was just a bonus that i enjoyed it.

New: I have a NEW job at Vensure International its a great job and i am loving it! Its super fast pace and its an office job which i missed having! The only down side is the hours are at night while Nate is home and i seriously miss him ALL the time!! Hopefully it will get easier with time but for now this is the new.

Christmas Eve & Christmas Day 2010

We spent Christmas Eve at Nate's moms house. This year she wanted to do it differently because Christmas is supposed to be about celebrating the birth of the savior, but lets face it when we all wake up Christmas morning its more about "what did ya get me??"  So she decided that on Christmas Eve we would have an olden time meal like Christ would of had with grape juice, fish, fruit, bread that you couldn't use a knife with.. and candle light.. he didn't have electricity so we couldn't either.. Then after dinner we did the NATIVITY those Jensen boys make things pretty entertaining!
Christmas morning Nate and I woke up and opened our presents from each other. Sadly Nate knew basically everything he was getting because he had to go buy it himself on Black Friday because I was so sick!! :(  But he got a Cabelas Hunting Game, Lego's, binoculars, jeans, and camo duffel bag, and his FAVORITE a new TV. I was spoiled this year Nate surprised me with a CRAFT ROOM!! I got a sander, laminator, craft supplies, boots, slippers, and Despicable Me movie.
After we opened our presents Nate set up the tv and jumped right in playing his hunting game he got to level 6 that day.. thats half way through! We headed over to my moms house to visit with family and eat YUMMY FOOD! My Stad (step dad) Brent made a south west Christmas feast!
    We headed over to Dave and Alexis' to see how there Christmas was when we got there Isabelle came running down the stairs saying FINALLY YOU GUYS GOT HERE! All in all it was a wonderful Christmas.

Snowmobiling for Christmas #1 2010

This year Christmas with my dad was Snowmobiling in West Yellowstone. Unfortunately the whole family wasn't able to be there but we sure had fun with the ones the were! Friday Nate, Madison, my Dad and I took lots of trails all day since we were the only ones up there. Yellowstone is soooo cold! It was NEGATIVE 9 like the entire time plus wind from a snowmobile... not so great combination! Saturday everyone else that was coming had arrived and we walked around the corner to meet with our guide to go through yellowstone. It was really pretty and COLD. We saw lots and animals and OLD FAITHFUL even though it was hard to see because it was so cold so all you could really see was steam. Sunday we had a prime rib dinner and opened presents as a family. Most, ok all of our presents were from Michelle and my Dads recent trip to HONG KONG. Nate and I were both very grateful for the things we were given and for the time we were able to spend together with my family.

Crafting Addiction!

OK so it took me forever to finally find my niche that wasn't going to cost me a forchen! I really wanted to do cakes and probably still will on request it just costs to much to have it as a hobby unfortunately :( But since i started working at Crafters Corner in American Fork I am really loving those kinds of crafts! I'm really good at it and I enjoy doing it. Its doing things like painting wood kits and adding embellishments onto them to make them just right.. I LOVE seeing the finished products and knowing I did that! I'm currently working on a cute Welcome sign crafts each month there is are different dangles that hang from it! It is so cute I'm excited to finish is and get it up! This month for November the dangles are a TURKEY, a PIE, a LEAF, a PUMPKIN, and a CORN. It kinda sounds funny but it is so cute! When I finish it I will post a picture! Decembers is cute as well but I wont spoil that for a little while :)

My 20 Birthday!! ( and Recap of 19)

OK for those of you who don't already know BiRtHdaYs have NEVER been a super big deal to me.. well in our household on November 2... here is why we have 3 BiRtHdaYs that day.. ME  20 ... My Dad  51. and my sister Brianna 5.. So its hard to make a big deal that is YOUR day... When really it is there day too..

So last year ( my 19) was the first BiRtHdaY Nate and I had been together for and he was determined to make it a great one! I was in school and he was traveling for work every week some how he managed to be home that week for my birthday. It was hard having him gone so honestly all I wanted for my birthday was for him to be home and to be with me. It was a Monday so I didn't have school so he had 2 of my friends entertain me all day they took me to Brick Oven and made them sing to me!!! ( Its on facebook FYI) Then they hung out with me until Nate got home to cook me a surprise dinner. He even decorated the house!

This YEAR was even better! (and not just because he is home ALL the time!) Nate had been asking me what i wanted, and  what i wanted to do on my birthday for a couple weeks!!! I had alot of time to plan I finally decided I wanted dinner at home and to go to a movie.. sounds simple.. but it was beyond perfect!! I slept in and went to work for a couple hours. Nate's mom stopped by shortly after i got home to give me some head band and a card with some green in it :) Even though I didn't know that until Nate got home.. He got home and let me open the rest of my presents he got me this GORGEOUS heart necklace and a black pea coat :) just what i wanted. We played games made dinner, got a death by chocolate cake from Costco with raspberries and then headed to the movie we saw "Life as we know it" it was really cute.

Birthday dinner at my moms house wasn't until thursday because I had work on Wednesday night. Brent aka Stad made his yummy pasta and we had salad and rolls. They gave me more presents which I was very grateful for! A new colorwonder coloring book (mine is filling up) birthday sented bubble baths and a gift card to Hobby Lobby one of my new favorite stores! My dad gave me some birthday money I feel pretty rich..

I think I'm starting to enjoy birthdays again. So THANK YOU Nate your plan is working! And I am no longer a teen.. goodbye..i don't think i will miss you..
