We've been together for 2 YEARS!!

Two years ago I went on my LAST first date. I never thought it was going to be my last but I'm so GLAD it was because now I get to spend ETERNITY with my best friend who happens to be my husband! On this day two years ago I found who I wanted to spend forever with. On this day two years ago I found what happiness was and that I wanted it. On this day two years ago he found HIS wife.

We went to Color Me Mine for our two year DatingAversary we wanting something that we could keep ( even though flowers are lovely.. they DIE) So we made ourselves some MUGS!

How rewarding is it to be good and successful at something that is easy? Not so much. It is hard, but like other things in life, so worth it. I am no expert. I know I have so much to learn. But that is what I love about marriage, there is so much ahead for me and I get to experience and get through all of it with my best friend next to me every step of the way. The hard stuff makes the easy, blissful moments that much better. And believe me, there are plenty of those too. Sometimes it takes going through the hard stuff to really understand what you have and how much you love that person.

Valentines Vol. 2

      Since last year was such a hit and we had so much fun we decided to make it a tradition that for Valentines every year we would go have ourselves a one night romantic get away in SLC. This year being our 2nd Valentines together we took our time getting up. Nate hoped in the shower and I went to cash my CHECK, then we switched only while I was in the shower Nate went and got me BEAUTIFUL ROSES!! And packed for me and then we headed to Salt Lake. We took a pit stop at Jordan Crossing where we ate at a Sushi Grill, I got sushi and Nate got noodles with shrimp and scallops. Then got our movie tickets for True Git, Nate had been dying to see it FOREVER! I'm glad we finally got to see it. After the movie we headed up to check into our hotel. And relaxed for an hour or two before we left for our reservations at The Melting Pot. It was SOOO good I would totally eat there again only I would only get the Cheese Fondue and then the Chocolate Fondue, the main course isn't quite worth the money but it was fun to do once. Then we played in the pool and made an Ice Cream run. Then slept all the way through breakfast. Nate finally got his birthday presents that I owed him since I had to wait for my paycheck. He was even nice enough to spend several hours walking around the gateway mall with me :) And basically got a free meal because we waited almost an hour and then found a hair in my food... gross i know. We came back home to a very upset kitty and a messy home.. back to reality again i suppose especially since i woke up very achy with a sore throat and a runny nose... Maybe its something about hotels, or traveling that makes me sick.. hope not.

Morning text to Nate:

"Hey sweetheart, I can't even begin to tell you how much I LOVE YOU. You are the best husband anyone could ask for, and you are ALL MINE. I first fell in love with THOSE EYES and I have been falling ever since I am so happy that we will be together FOREVER. You are my TRUE LOVE in every way. We FOREVER have an amazing LOVE STORY that we get to write. THANK YOU for always being there for me. So will you BE MINE FOREVER? Happy Valentines Nate."

Phone call: I'm not even going to try and top that and I don't have enough time while i'm working to try :) I love you! ( that is not word for word but pretty close :) )

   I got to see Nate for a few brief seconds before I left for work. And got cute wonderful text messages all through work which really kept me going because I was dragging! ( being sick does that to you!!) And came home to a wonderful CANDLE LIT DINNER!!! With Steak and potatoes, shrimp and LOBSTER!!AND cheesecake FANTASY from coldstone.  I was so impressed he did such a good job! I wasn't expecting anything out of the ordinary since we had technically already had "our valentines" He defineatly caught me off guard and i am so grateful for him he is such a great husband! 

 Make sure you let your Special Someone know how important they are to you not just today but ALL the time!

AND A HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO MY WONDERFUL MOM AND STAD ( step DAD) BRENT HAPPY 2 WONDERFUL YEARS OF MARRIAGE TO YOU AND AN ETERNITY TO COME!! 

Nate's 23 BirThDay!

Nate turned 23!! I was lucky enough to be able to go to lunch with him before I left for work! I picked him up and we headed to Panda Express :) He headed back to work and I came home to bake his Birthday CAKE! I wanted to do a fun Baseball CAKE but with my new work schedule there just wasn't time for it. So i made a cookie sheet cake one of his favorite unforchenately there was a little toooooo much vanilla that spilled into the frosting so the frosting is a little strong.. :S. I headed to work and I was able to get off at perfect timing for us to go to dinner at Red Lobster it was so yummy and way more affordable than i remember. We came home to have BIrthday CAKE, Coldstone CHEESECAKE FANTASY ice cream and watch Prison Break ( his fav i don't love it but its time i get to spend cuddling with him so i am ALL for it!) Nate decided he wanted the VERY center piece of the cake..  and hey its his birthday so why not! :)

OUT with the old and IN with the new.

Old: My job at Crafters Corner it was a bitter sweet ending but it was time to move on. I still LOVE crafting and do whenever i have spare time. I just wasn't getting any hours and thats kind of the point of a job is to have hours and make money its was just a bonus that i enjoyed it.

New: I have a NEW job at Vensure International its a great job and i am loving it! Its super fast pace and its an office job which i missed having! The only down side is the hours are at night while Nate is home and i seriously miss him ALL the time!! Hopefully it will get easier with time but for now this is the new.

Christmas Eve & Christmas Day 2010

We spent Christmas Eve at Nate's moms house. This year she wanted to do it differently because Christmas is supposed to be about celebrating the birth of the savior, but lets face it when we all wake up Christmas morning its more about "what did ya get me??"  So she decided that on Christmas Eve we would have an olden time meal like Christ would of had with grape juice, fish, fruit, bread that you couldn't use a knife with.. and candle light.. he didn't have electricity so we couldn't either.. Then after dinner we did the NATIVITY those Jensen boys make things pretty entertaining!
Christmas morning Nate and I woke up and opened our presents from each other. Sadly Nate knew basically everything he was getting because he had to go buy it himself on Black Friday because I was so sick!! :(  But he got a Cabelas Hunting Game, Lego's, binoculars, jeans, and camo duffel bag, and his FAVORITE a new TV. I was spoiled this year Nate surprised me with a CRAFT ROOM!! I got a sander, laminator, craft supplies, boots, slippers, and Despicable Me movie.
After we opened our presents Nate set up the tv and jumped right in playing his hunting game he got to level 6 that day.. thats half way through! We headed over to my moms house to visit with family and eat YUMMY FOOD! My Stad (step dad) Brent made a south west Christmas feast!
    We headed over to Dave and Alexis' to see how there Christmas was when we got there Isabelle came running down the stairs saying FINALLY YOU GUYS GOT HERE! All in all it was a wonderful Christmas.
